Ask relocating parents about their biggest academic fear and you’ll hear the same word: behind. Will my child be behind? Will she have to repeat things she’s mastered? Will the school even know where he is?

Your child’s teacher knows their name, their story, and their starting point within the first week — and builds from there. For families coming from abroad, there’s an extra layer of reassurance: we don’t give the STAAR test that Texas public schools revolve around. We use the MAP assessment — the same one used by the majority of international schools worldwide. If your child is arriving from an international school, their learning history actually transfers, and teachers pick up right where it left off.

The practical part, made simple
Relocation timelines don’t respect school calendars, so ours doesn’t demand it. Admissions are rolling — families apply year-round, and you’ll have a decision within 14 days of completing your application. Mid-year arrivals are normal here, not an exception to be accommodated.
A few more things relocating families usually want to know upfront: tuition and fees are published transparently, before-school care starts at 7:15 AM, and after-care runs until 5:00 PM — helpful while you’re still figuring out a new commute. And if you’re deciding from a distance, we’re happy to do video calls and virtual tours across any time zone, so you can make this decision before the moving truck arrives, not after.
